What You Will Be Doing As a Regulatory Compliance Engineer you will be responsible for taking our products from concept to customer. You will provide your colleagues with guidance and support to be sure that all aspects of solutions we provide, even down to the most miniscule components, will satisfy international requirements and regulations. In addition to the day-to-day compliance work:
- You will consult by sharing your knowledge on successful setup and execution of regulatory compliance programs
- Remain familiar with domestic and international Regulatory Standards: FCC, UL, CE, IC, BSI, CENELEC, ETSI, etc.
- Create project plans including project schedules and estimated timelines associated with each step
- Provide interdepartmental engineering support
- Serve as the main hub for cost schedules and maintaining the project timeline
What You Need for this Position Bachelors of Science - Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 5 years or more of design engineering, cellular, and/or GPS technology
- 3-5 years min. of UL regulatory compliance experience
- Strong understanding of RF and cellular standards
- Experience with low power/battery-operated devices containing cellular radio tech.
- Familiarity with certifying new products using UL, CSA, & CE requirements and processes
- Proficiency using various dev. environments, as well as oscilloscopes, meter, SPI Bus Analyzer, and more
- Working knowledge in the application of embedded microcontrollers in radio products
