Our US Oncology Commercial MBA Internship and Leadership rotational opportunities are designed for forward-thinking current MBA students passionate about healthcare and for those who want a cutting-edge experience in a science-led and patient-first organization.

This position is based ON SITE at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for the US Oncology and the Oncology Business Unit. The Gaithersburg site offers various amenities to help boost efficiency and help keep our employees happy and healthy. This includes a fitness center, employee healthcare clinic, electric vehicle charging stations, dry cleaning, a full-service cafeteria, state-of-the-art on-campus Daycare facility, and copy center. This is where you'll find newly-designed, activity-based workspaces to suit a variety of working styles while strengthening collaboration between teams.

The Internship opportunities in the Oncology Commercial business are aligned to business strategy, and as such vary in nature across the sales, marketing, and market access functions. As an MBA summer intern with leadership aspirations, you will be considered for full-time employment following graduation in the Commercial Leadership Development Program, a 3-year leadership development rotational program within the US Oncology Commercial Business.

During your three years in the program, you will take on a series of challenging commercial management roles across our core functional areas - Marketing, Market Access, and Sales - that focus on the many commercial aspects of our oncology franchise.

You will participate in (3) three 12-month rotations which will provide you with great insights into our business along with the chance to influence our future direction.

What we're looking for:

  • Current MBA students
  • 2+ years of work experience prior to your MBA - pharmaceutical, healthcare, marketing, brand management, or sales experience is preferred, but not required
  • Diverse current or previous work experience is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and passion for people
  • Values-driven mindset
  • Strong targeted interest in healthcare
  • Outstanding work ethic
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • The aspiration, ability, engagement, and leadership potential to take on challenging roles in AZ's commercial business
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Commitment to relocate to Gaithersburg, MD
