ROLE:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the activities and safe movement in receiving, storing, shipping of Finish Goods & Raw Materials. They will plan, develop & implement safety, site security programs and activities. Nurture Genpak's Safety Culture with team members. Inspect the physical conditions of warehouse, PIV & WHS equipment. Communicate Production & inventory discrepancies properly through internal channels. Make sure all WHS operations; shipping, receiving rework processes operate in accordance with Genpak's standard operating procedures & Safe Quality Food program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize & execute daily inbound & outbound activities.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedule and organize team to ensure proper coverage of warehouse shifts & Sealing Line.
  • Reconcile production daily.
  • Communicate to production team product demands for outbound loads.
  • Manage product layout in warehouse to ensure efficient product flow.
  • Assign workload tasks appropriately and measure results
  • Ensure that daily reports are accurate, detailed and submitted within expected time of delivery
  • Manage trailers on site. Communicate with carriers' equipment demands.
  • Maintain weekly Labor Report. Document exceptions.
  • Execute maintenance activities when needed. Follow up with work requisitions for repairs.
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled production meetings
  • Provide production date labels.
  • Take initiative to accomplish open tasks; be proactive and seek additional work when available.

  • Leadership skills and ability to manage team, coach/mentor employees to develop skillsets and achieve performance requirements.
  • Assign workload tasks appropriately and measure results.
  • Ability to participate and/or foster interdepartmental communication and teamwork.
  • Ability to prioritize multi-task duties without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, respond to emergencies without efficiently and loss of composure.
  • Ability to establish and build relationships with internal & external customers.
  • Value people, demonstrate humility, trust, listening and caring towards the team under your leadership.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, Oracle and familiar with database applications.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory.
