Overview

We are looking to HIRE an AMAZING employee to work as a part time time, Temp-to-Perm Administrative Assistant in our office!

The Administrative Assistant position works with the accounting department providing clerical and office support. This position requires someone with experience in excel and ideally some accounting background, though not required. Organizes and manages processes and maintain documentation in support of the operation.

Schedule: Temp-to-Perm, 30 - 40 hours per week, temp through August with potential of moving into a full time role within the company, not necessarily in the exact role.

Responsibilities

  • Answers and screens incoming telephone calls and communicates with customers, vendors and departmental personnel via telephone, email, and written correspondence to answer inquiries and provide information.
  • Opens and distributes mail throughout the office.
  • Greets customers and assist with their needs.
  • Keeps the filing room organized.
  • Assist the accounting department and office staff.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience working in Excel.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • General account skills.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Time Management Skills.
  • Multi-tasking skills.
  • Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Must have attention to detail and have accurate work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

HS diploma, or GED equivalent, is required. An Associate's degree in business administration or other administrative training is desired. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
